The £90,000 high-tech bike has a cool design, but I don't think it will change the way we ride bikes, even though some people think it will. The Human-Machine Interface, or HMI, consists primarily of a helmet with a Heads-Up Display and a jacket with blind spot alerts. The display is a standard type that you wear near your eyes, but it's not ideal for biking because you have to take your eyes off the road to see it. Nevertheless, the alert system in the jacket is pretty interesting, and I hope it has more applications in the future.
